Foam Polyeurthane 600

Foam Polyurethane
GMAX Polyurethane Spray Foam (SPF) is the leading choice for insulation, providing exceptional performance and long-lasting results. Originally developed in the 1940s for military applications in airplanes, SPF became widely used as an efficient and versatile insulation material by the 1970s. Made from two core components—polyol and isocyanate—GMAX SPF expands upon mixing to form a durable foam. This foam solidifies rapidly, creating a permanent, high-performance insulation solution that resists cracking or deformation. Additionally, excess foam can be easily trimmed to the desired size, ensuring a perfect fit for any application. GMAX Polyurethane Foam is the ideal choice for reliable, effective, and permanent insulation solutions across a wide range of needs.

how to maintain

When using GMAX Polyurethane Foam, always wear a mask, goggles, protective clothing, and safety gloves. Avoid inhaling the vapors of the foam. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice without delay.

Store the foam in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, and ensure the temperature remains below 50°C. Do not pierce or burn foam cans after use. Keep the product out of reach of children for safety.

How to use

For optimal results with GMAX Polyurethane Adhesives and Sealants, follow these steps:

  1. Clean the Surface: Before applying, ensure the surface is free of grease and dust. This ensures better adhesion and a stronger, more durable seal.

  2. Prepare the Foam: Shake the polyurethane sealant spray foam for 1 minute or 20 times to mix the contents thoroughly. This step is essential for maximizing the foam’s quality and efficiency.

  3. Moisten the Surface: Lightly spray the surface with water. This will increase surface moisture, helping the polyurethane foam adhere better and improve its overall performance.

  4. Spray Slowly and Evenly: Apply the foam at a slow and uniform speed. Avoid spraying too quickly to ensure the polyurethane foam and gas inside are mixed in the correct ratio for optimal performance.

  5. Allow to Dry: Let the foam dry completely. Once dried, trim any excess foam with a cutter to achieve the desired level.

  6. Finishing Touches: The dried foam can be sanded or painted to match your preferences, providing a clean, finished appearance.

By following these steps, you can ensure the highest quality and durability in your sealing and adhesive applications.
