How to use
For optimal results with GMAX Polyurethane Adhesives and Sealants, follow these steps:
-
Clean the Surface: Before applying, ensure the surface is free of grease and dust. This ensures better adhesion and a stronger, more durable seal.
-
Prepare the Foam: Shake the polyurethane sealant spray foam for 1 minute or 20 times to mix the contents thoroughly. This step is essential for maximizing the foam’s quality and efficiency.
-
Moisten the Surface: Lightly spray the surface with water. This will increase surface moisture, helping the polyurethane foam adhere better and improve its overall performance.
-
Spray Slowly and Evenly: Apply the foam at a slow and uniform speed. Avoid spraying too quickly to ensure the polyurethane foam and gas inside are mixed in the correct ratio for optimal performance.
-
Allow to Dry: Let the foam dry completely. Once dried, trim any excess foam with a cutter to achieve the desired level.
-
Finishing Touches: The dried foam can be sanded or painted to match your preferences, providing a clean, finished appearance.
By following these steps, you can ensure the highest quality and durability in your sealing and adhesive applications.
